Renewal of friendship Part 2.3

Dav came back to KK last week for a few days to clear up his condo as he's going to rent it out. Unfortunately, Lily did not make it as Dav said that the kids are back at school in Singapore unlike my children's school which gave them a week off.

We met up and I helped Dav to move his personal effects to his parents place. His Japanese tenant was quite picky but everthing worked out at the end. I did however manage to practice my horribly broken Japanese...........

Dav left his Kona Blast MTB bike at my place and I am now officially the guardian for his baby. He even left his pair of dirty clipless MTB shoes at my place. Hmmm..... his shoes were really dirty and being the guy that I am, I washed his shoes and they are now clean........ Dav, I will have to charge you for cleaning your dirty Louis Garneau shoes!!!! ha..ha... By the way, I also pumped up the tyres of the poor Kona as she was deflated.

Not to worry my man, your Kona and shoes are safe in my home. We'll go riding together anytime you are back here. I'll give her some loving and I'm sure she'll be happy to stay with me until you come back to ride her! yeeha....!!!

Lily, looks like we will have to take another raincheque for our dinner! Not to worry, I look forward to meet you again and renew our friendship....... when there's a will, there's a way..... REAL friendship has no time limits and I only wish that we had met up earlier before you and family moved to Singapore. I'm sure that your two lovely daughters would have got along fine with Amanda who will turn 9 by June.

So, Dav, when is our next "ngiew chap (beef noodles)" session at Menggatal?

I did not realize that Dav almost became my neighbour as he was interested in the house just behind mine. Somebody else beat him to it before he could purchase it. Now, it would be great if Dav was my neighbour as I would not have to tolerate the idiot who purchased the house but were so stingy that there have no fencing lighting at all and totally screwed up my garden which was initially planted with carpet grass but is now sundal grass due to them planting all kinds of fruit trees and not cutting the grass regularly..............!!!!!! Alas, the grass in my garden is all shit now..... sigh.......oh well........

Cheerio.

Hi Brend,

Had a good laugh reading your blog cos' now I know my tenants are Picky. haha.. and trust David to tell me the tenants appear to be really sweet and nice with a rolly polly baby girl. Aw..

Well, all I can hope for now is that they are just as picky and particular when coming to keeping the apartment clean. I specifically requested for Japanese family tenants cos' I believe they are more house and cleaniness conscious - so at least I can rest assure that my unit will be in good hands, I hope. Agree?

Thanks so much for extending your help with the moving., I am sure David would be more than happy to buy you and your family dinner, tea and breakfast the next time he is in town especially after all that you have done for him even to the extend of cleaning his bike and shoes. He owes you big time!!! Thanks, dude!

Ok, there's a part 2 to this episode - gotta keep it short here so drop by my blog and you'll find Part 2 there.

chuckle chuckle..

Well, your Japanese tenant do seem very clean and decent.

I hope for their sake that they do not mess up your place as I don't think it would be wise to cross swords with you. ha..ha...

No biggie. My pleasure. See my long comments at your blog. We seem to be cross referencing our blogs now.....!

Thanks for the kind comments you have left at my blog.

With respect to my tenants, I hope for their sake they don't mess up my place because Bren (being the true friend that he is) would not let them off that easily either. In fact, I think I should warn them that crossing swords with me might be unwise but crossing swords with Bren would be the Biggest Mistake they'll ever make in their entire life. hahaha...

No, no, shouldn't be like that I have faith in my tenants - they are apparently nice, decent and wise people.

Funny though, they opt to sign the agreement prepared by the Agent ( as opposed to the version prepared by me) when half of the contents in the version prepared by the Agent was either inapplicable or too Pro-Owner. I amended the Agreement taking out those clauses that are inapplicable and amended the same so that it would be more balanced to both parties but they opted for the Agent's version. (Puzzling) Oh, maybe they are just returning the kindness?

And now, The Agent - the agent being the "honest & smart" asked Dav for a copy of my amended version so that she can use it as a base for her future clients.

And... No prize for guessing Dav's answer to the Agent's request.

Little does she knows (unless and until she chance upon this comment) that whatever permission he gave her, it was defective cos' copyright belongs to me. hahahaha...

Oops, looks like this is another super long comment from me. *embarrassed*

Bren dons his armour and prepares to do battle with the enemy (tenant) as one of the knights of the round table. ha..ha...

But he opts to take off the armour and instead opts for a kevlar bullet-proof vest instead of the tin-can armour used by the mediaval knights! Instead of the almighty sword favoured by the knights, he draws instead a 9mm automatic Beretta handgun. More punch........ ha...ha......

Should I just lob a hand grenade to the agent so that the papers (agreement)is pulverized? LOL!!!!

BTW, my bullet proof vest has the initials ATD (Agent, Tenant Demolisher) instead of ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms), FBI, SWAT of the USA.

Hmm....shouldn't let my imagination run wild........watching too many action movies..... (embarassed)

Cheerio.

Bren,
Find a comfy wing chair, sit down, take several deep breath and count 1-10 very slowly.

Too much action fiction can or may cause harm.

Notwithstanding, such actions may be justified to counter not so smart agents and picky tenants who knows not what is good nor wise of them. Just a last point - don't do it at my apartment lest we have to do the cleaning thereafter. Hahaha..

Catch u later, terminator/alligator? (they rhyme!!!)
